Steve is a multi-talented musician and vocalist with many years of musical experience. He has been playing and singing music since he was a toddler. At his very young age of six Steve was playing fiddle in his father’s band, the Tom Todd Trio playing at weddings and dances around Waterloo Region. At the age of 16 Steve started his own band playing all over the Kitchener/Waterloo area and never looked back. While his first instrument was the fiddle, Steve has since moved on to play the guitar, mandolin, and some smokin’ banjo rolls. Steve’s been playing many types of music from rock & jazz to country and the combination of styles and instruments, have brought colour and versatility to Moonshine’s show. Over the years, Steve has opened up for major acts such as: The Pursuit of Happiness, The Tubes, The Wilkinson's, and Brett Michaels (Poison). As a matter of fact: Steve was once Moonshine’s lead singer/guitarist and has now come back as their fiddle/mandolin/banjo player… Oh yah like that isn’t enough…they are going to have him singing too. Steve and Jody (bass) have a bit of a torrid past together when they hooked up in a band called ”Luck of the Draw”. Funny how they all leave but they all keep coming back… Come out and see Moonshine, and have a few beers with Steve! |
